One can boost one's confidence, self-esteem, and certainly, clear away the negative thoughts and doubts that hinder one from envisioning and reaching one's goals and dreams in life. Although the language of this book is clearly directed at teenage girls, the principles are fundamentally applicable to anyone, of any age. I found myself doing the exercise as I read the book - and experiencing more clarity, and certainly, more calm. I recommend this book for teens who are navigating the sometimes difficult waters of incipient adulthood, but as well, anyone who wants to get a boost in life.
