International Writers Inspiring Change presents: The Earth, the Universe and God in a Cosmic Perspective by Else Byskov

Updated: 1 day ago

Why are we here?

Do our lives have any meaning?

Where are we coming from and where are we going?

Is this the only life we live? Is there life after death?

How can we create a happy fate?

Will we always have wars and misery?

How can we create a peaceful planet?

What is going on here? Are we alone in the Universe? How was the universe created?

What will the future bring?

Are we on the road to self-destruction?

How can we become free from illnesses and pain?

Is there a God?

The answers to these, and many more questions, are the subject of this book.

Belief will become knowledge. We are not supposed to go on being believers about the spiritual world, the universe and God. At a certain point in time we will KNOW. This point in time is now.

How will we know? We will know when enlightened beings reveal their insight to us.

The most enlightened being that has reincarnated on Earth in recent times is Martinus, the still little-known Danish visionary and mystic. Martinus achieved cosmic consciousness at the age of 30 and he spent the next 60 years of his life revealing his spiritual science.

The magnitude of Martinus´ work will only gradually dawn on us, but there is no doubt that it constitutes the most complete revelation of spiritual insight ever to have been revealed to humankind. There is nothing comparable. It is complete, intelligent, logical and full of love. Everything is there: a revelation of the mystery of life, presenting answers to the big questions with a level of insight that will change the way we look upon the world.

Reviews:

"Else explains everything in a worldwide view of the entire picture also referencing her other books like from the nutshell series which are my favorites. Because of her I am less fearful regarding death having a much greater understanding of everything unlike religions revealing truths."

- Donna B.

"Referencing Martinus was brilliant. Describing where we are today on Earth and where we are heading and how we will get there was very informative. Explaining who and what God is along with explaining how planets, galaxies, and universes are alive was excellent. Understanding Karma, especially dark karma, was insightful. GREAT BOOK." - Nurse DL

"This is a great book-a must read for seekers of truth about the meaning of life and the nature of God." - John W.

Our review of The Earth, the Universe and God in a Cosmic Perspective

The Earth, the Universe and God in a Cosmic Perspective, by Else Byskov, is quite a tour-de force when it comes to interpreting the works of Danish new-age philosopher, Martinus, into a narrative which is contemporary and relevant to our current world. Martinus experienced a profound spiritual event which he called "cosmic consciousness" and went on to write prolifically, on the subject of humanity, the ultimate awakening as people, collectively, would rise above the visceral impulses, war, greed to a higher state of awareness, which detailed, would raise the entire culture to a new level. In her book, Byskov dissects the works of Martinus, relating it to contemporary and relatable circumstances facing the world today, wherein she extols considerable bits of truth which anyone with an open mind, can relate to. She shows how Martinus' insights, almost a century earlier, apply to the world we live in today, and as you read the book, you start to gain a broader perspective about our existence in this Universe, and that the human plain that we live on, is brief, that death is just an illusion because we never die and repeat the physical experience over and over again, both as a game and as part of the learning curve that eventually leads us to a higher level of consciousness. The following quote from the book embraces some of the philosophy extoled by the author:

"Today, the mainstream narrative tells us that the physical world is all that exists, and that the existence of a spiritual world is pure nonsense...The physical world is only secondary. It has been created from the primary world: the spiritual world. It is always thought first. No exception."

A recommended read for anyone looking to open up doors to a higher awareness of who we really are.

Review by International Writers Inspiring Change

About the author

Else Byskov is an international authority on the groundbreaking work of Martinus (1890-1981), the Danish philosopher, visionary and mystic. Before she came across the Martinus material (comprising over 10.000 pages), Else was a convinced atheist for many years, so it came as quite a surprise to her when she became the author of a series of spiritual books. During a period of intense soul-searching and seeking more meaningful answers to life's big questions, an astonishing dash of universal wisdom led Else to a book about the Danish mystic - it literally fell into her hands. She was so enthralled by what she found, and the incredibly logical answers that she had never been able to find anywhere about life, death, and the mystery of both, that she had to tell people about it. Her passion was so intense that she wrote her first book, 'Death Is An Illusion', (a general introduction to Martinus´ fantastic world picture), in order to bring the incredible Martinus wisdom to a wider audience.

Else has written 8 more books covering the profound aspects of Martinus' world view: 'The Art of Attraction' (about the law of attraction, including totally unknown aspects of the law), 'The Undiscovered Country' (presenting all the evidence for life after death), 'The Beginning Is Near' (previously called 'Ten Great Ways to Understand the World') (a short introduction to the Martinus material in 10 easy steps) and ´The Downfall of Marriage - The Great Transformation of our Marital and Sexual Relations´ (an explanation of why our divorce rates are soaring and why same-sex relationships are on the rise).

Else Byskov is Danish, has two university degrees in Spanish and English philology and she writes mostly in English, so that Martinus' work can reach a wider audience. Seven of her books have also been published in Danish ('Loven for tiltrækning', 'Ti nye måder at se verden på', 'Døden er en Illusion', 'Ægteskabets nedtur', samt de tre bøger i Den Spirituelle Nøddeskalsserie: Reinkarnation i en Nøddeskal, Skæbne og Karma i en Nøddeskal og Livet efter Døden i en Nøddeskal), one in German ('Der Tod ist eine Illusion') and the Spanish version of 'Death Is an Illusion' entitled 'La muerte es una ilusión' was published in 2011 .

In addition to this, Else, a lover of hiking and the outdoors, has also written four highly successful hiking books: 'Fod på Andalusien' , 'Fod på Andalusien 2' og Fod på Andalusien 3 and 4. They have been published in Danish, and one has been published in English: 'On Foot in Andalucía'. This book is an Amazon bestseller and has also been published in German ('Zu Fuss in Andalusien').

Today she is no longer an atheist, is vegetarian and is fully convinced that there is no death: death is an illusion. All her books present the logical basis for this claim. Else lives in southern Spain with her husband.

iWIC Interview with Else Byskov

iWIC: What inspired you to write?

My inspiration to write came univocally from Martinus, so let me

explain. I had been a searching soul my whole life, and due to the lack

of logic in the Christian religion I had grown up with, I became an

atheist in my early twenties. It did not bother me at all to wave

goodbye to the angry, strict, judgmental guy the others called God, so I

got on with my life without him.

I was studying at university at the time, so I was not alone in my

rejection of religion. Later I got married in a civil service and my two

children never got baptized. In spite of my rejection of religion I was a

searching soul and wanted to find answers to the big questions, such

as: why am I here, where am I coming from and where am I going? Is

there life after death? Is this the only life we live? What is the meaning

of life? And so on.

My story is an example of the truth in the saying: search and you

shall find and also of: When the pupil is ready, the teacher appears. I

was in my mid-forties when a book about Martinus found its way to

me. The moment I saw the book I intuitively knew that this was where

my search ended. I read the two main works of Martinus: Livets Bog

(The Book of Life – 7 volumes) and The Eternal World Picture (4

volumes at the time, now 6) in around a year. I threw myself on the

work like a starving wolf, crying out with joy and enthusiasm as I was

reading. Here it all was: A logical explanation to what life was all about.

No dogmas, no lifted fingers, just intellectually sound explanations of

the solution to the mystery of life. The writing appealed to my rational

intellect like nothing I had ever read before. I was beyond enthusiastic

and said to myself: I have to tell this to somebody!!!

This resulted in my first book, entitled: “Death is an Illusion – a

logical explanation based on the Worldview of Martinus.”. I wrote the

book in English (in which I have a university degree) and the book was

published in the USA in 2002 by Paragon House Publishers. Later it also

came out in German, Danish and Spanish.

Since then, I have written 10 other books about aspects of

Martinus’ work.

iWIC: Who or what most inspired you in life?

Finding Martinus’ work changed my life, and it is without a doubt

the greatest source of inspiration in my life, so let me explain who

Martinus was. Martinus was born out of wedlock on August 11 th , 1890,

in the north of Jutland, Denmark, in very humble circumstances. His

mother was a housekeeper at a manor house and due to the fear of a

scandal she could not keep her child with her, so she gave him away to

her brother and his wife, who lived in a small-holding nearby. They

already had 11 children, but they had been sent away to work at

neighboring farms, so there was room for this unexpected newcomer.

From an early age Martinus had a very close relationship with a

higher level of existence, and whenever he was in doubt about what to

do, he would ask: What would Jesus do in this situation? And

immediately he would receive the answer.

At school and church Martinus did not accept the dogmas of the

church of Denmark, and when he was told that children, who were

born out of wedlock like himself, could never enter heaven and were

forever banned, he immediately thought: That cannot be true, I feel

certain that God has no grudge against me and that he loves me.

There was no money for Martinus to have an education, so when

he was in his late teens he was trained as a dairyman.

He moved to Copenhagen in his 20s and worked there at a large

dairy and led a very humble life. He had no interest in marriage, so he

lived alone in a rented room.

One day, when he had turned 30, a man at his workplace

mentioned the idea of reincarnation, and Martinus immediately

thought that it sounded logical that we did not only live one life. The

colleague also mentioned a book about meditation, so Martinus got

hold of the book and one day, following the instructions in the book, he

sat down to meditate on the concept of God.

He felt that he was suddenly pulled out of his physical body and

entered a divine level of existence. In the distance he saw the figure of

Jesus come towards him and walk right into him. He could see the Earth

revolve from a position high above it, he could see valleys, mountains

and oceans with ships bathed in a bright light. At a certain point the

pressure on his consciousness from this high vibrating energy became

too much, so he jumped up from his chair and pulled off his blindfold.

Now he was back in his humble room, but the impression from the

vision never left him.

The following day he sat down again to meditate, and this time

he was emerged in a sea of golden threads. He felt that this was as high

as one could come, it was God’s own realm that he had entered.

Now, it would not mean anything to others that Martinus had

experienced these two visions, which he later referred to as “The white

baptism” and “The golden baptism”, had they not left him in a

permanent state of expanded consciousness. From then on, he was

able to look into the spiritual world that lies before, behind and beyond

the physical world. Whenever Martinus had a question, the answer

would come to him immediately. He had achieved total enlightenment

or cosmic consciousness. This happened in March 1921.

It took Martinus some years to get accustomed to this new state

of consciousness, but he soon realized that he had to convey his

newfound insight to others, so he started writing. With the help of

friends, he was able to stop working at the dairy and dedicate all his

time to writing. This he did over the next 60 years until his death in

1981. His complete work comprises over 10.000 pages of deep spiritual

insight. It is without a doubt the most complete revelation of the

spiritual world ever to have been disclosed to humankind. It is a work

so unique and mind-blowing that just studying it opens new areas in

your brain.

Martinus also produced 100 symbols in his lifetime, and they can

be described as roadmaps to the spiritual world. Here is an example:

Martinus, symbol no. 7, The principle of Life units. It reveals how the

structure of life is lifeforms inside lifeforms.

You can read the explanation to the symbol here:

library/symbols/index.php?symbol=7

An overview of Martinus symbols can be found here:

What does Martinus reveal on all those pages? He reveals the

solution to the mystery of life, and his work is spiritual nourishment for

us, living here right now, in modern societies with a scientific outlook. It

is not to become a new religion, but the basis for a merger of science

and spirituality. It has mainly been written for those who can no longer

be satisfied with the dogmas of the religions and who are searching for

logical answers to the big questions, such as: Is there life after death, is

this the only life we live, is there a God, what is the meaning of suffering

and wars, what is the meaning of human evolution, how can we create

a happy fate, are we alone in the Universe, what is the universe, why

are we here, does our individual lives have a meaning, does Humanity

have a future, what will the future bring, what is the meaning of global

warming, of extinction of certain species, of the Earth’s magnetic field,

why is there a growing gender confusion today, what are the UFOs etc.

Martinus’ work is an inexhaustible source of spiritual knowledge

and insight.

iWIC: What do you hope to inspire with your writing?

My writing has only one aim: to make the world aware of

Martinus spiritual science and the logical answers it offers to life’s big

questions. Martinus himself says that we are not meant to go on living

in ignorance about the spiritual world. A time will come when

everything is revealed, and this time is now. All we have to do is study

what Martinus reveals. I cannot think of a single question that he does

not address in the most intellectually inspiring way. His work is spiritual

nourishment for the spiritually bankrupt person who can no longer find

inspiration in the religions of old.

The Martinus Institute in Copenhagen has published his entire

work online and you can read it here: www.martinus.dk

Translators are hard at work translating his texts, and at the

moment parts of his work have been translated into 20+ languages. On

the website, just click on the globe in the top, right hand corner and see

the languages.

The Martinus material belongs to all of humankind, and it is freely

accessible to everyone who has an interest in it. There is no sect or

organization around his work, and you cannot become a member, and

you cannot be thrown out. Access to the work is as free as it is to the

sun in the sky.

At the moment we are only beginning to discover Martinus’

work, but he predicted that his work would be taught in schools in

some 200 years. Then our present spiritual doubts will have dissolved

like dew in the sun.

iWIC: What is the backstory to your book? How did it come about?

All my 11 books about aspects of Martinus’ spiritual science have

come to me via inspiration via my intuition. It is as if they have been

downloaded to me from above. All I have to do is sit down at my

computer, and the text to write comes to me easily. I cannot explain

how this happens, and I especially cannot understand why this ability

has befallen to me. But there it is.

My latest book titled: “The Earth, the Universe and God in a

Cosmic Perspective – The True Theory of Everything Based on the

Spiritual Science of Martinus” is inspired by the current world situation.

The world is passing a very dark period in its evolutionary path, and a

lot of people are afraid that we are facing Armageddon, that life on this

planet will soon be extinguished due to nuclear war, being hit by an

asteroid or some other major disaster.

And it is true that the Earth (a living being) is passing through a

crisis, but it is not the end. The crisis is due to the agony of death of an

old global culture, based on egoism, greed and power-hunger, and the

birth pangs of a new global culture based on peace, respect for life,

helpfulness and universal love. It is in the middle of this huge shift in

the consciousness of the Earth that we are living right now and, in my

book, I explain the details.

Our long-term future is bright and beautiful, and humanity will

experience a long period of peace and prosperity for all, once the

individuals have outlived their present desires for riches and power for

themselves. Right now, the Earth is ruled by greed and power hunger,

but that will soon be over, once the greedy and selfish get their karma

back. Our fates are ruled by the law of karma, that in all its simplicity

decrees: we reap as we sow. Those who sow war, selfishness, greed

and a total disrespect for the lives of others, will reap what they sowed

on their own bodies in their next lives.

Nobody gets off scot-free. We will all reap what we once did to

other living beings, not only other humans but also animals. What we

do to others, we eventually do to ourselves.

Those who have peace in their hearts have nothing to fear from

future wars and unrest, because you cannot reap a fate that you are no

longer able to sow. You will be protected by your karma.

Becoming knowledgeable about the workings of the law of karma

is the greatest challenge facing humankind today, according to

Martinus.

I have written my latest book to underline the importance of only

sowing what you would like to reap and to inform humankind about

the amazing future that awaits us in our coming incarnations once we

have outgrown greed, selfishness and power-hunger.
